Wreath is lasting well

I was passing the cemetery today, after stopping off at Lidl to get some of their lovely rolls. Thought I'd pop in to see what the grave is looking like. 
I was so pleased to see the wreath, that Marlane made, is still looking lovely. The roses and all the greenery that she put into the round oasis are as fresh as when she made it. We've only had one short shower since the funeral so the oasis is doing it's job very well.
When we get back from visiting Julia at the weekend I'm thinking I'll take a fork and spade to break down the lumps of soil, it's very clay laden so hope it stays dry, on the other hand it might help if it rained and then froze.
