Huddle

We made a midafternoon stop at the river and were pleased to see lots and lots of mallard ducks near the shore. Some were paddling and dabbling in the open water but most were huddled in small groups on the ice • Another cold day with a bitter cold weekend on tap, but improvements are on the horizon! I hope other places in the deep freeze see some relief soon too • After shoveling I filled the suet feeders and set the table for the dear deer buffet. It’s going to be a tough few nights for our wildlife friends • Happy Friday & Happy Weekend to you!
