Clear sky

We’ve been waiting all week for a clear sky. This evening it was clear around 7 pm when this was taken. After that it clouded over for a while which was frustrating. At about 10 pm the clouds cleared but the aurora activity had completely faded.
As we lie here looking out of our panoramic window, the moon is bright, the trees are sparkling and we can see the stars but the Aurora has disappeared completely.
Never mind we’ve seen it , and it’s been beautiful. Once again the iPhone with a three second exposure has made a decent job of this. I’ve sorted out my camera I think and it did well except by the time I was able to use it the lights had faded a bit.
We went on a reindeer ride this morning , a bit “touristy”, but then we are tourists. See extras.
