Lazy Day in Lenno

Quite a lazy day today. The fireworks last night were spectacular and lasted over half an hour with a music accompaniment, It turned out for a better view it would be a neighbour's house we would have to demolish, not a tree.

A highlight of the evening, for me at any rate, was a visit from a ferret. We heard a bell and thought it was a cat with a bell on its solar. Instead it turned out it was a ferret. Very cute and friendly. It belongs to one of the neighbours, she lets it out in the evening to play in the garden. It is the first time I have handled a ferret, or even seen one at such close quarters. I am guessing she is a female by the jewel encrusted solar. She was safely back home before the fireworks started.

Today we went down to the village for lunch, but apart from that it has been a largely domestic day with laundries and some shopping.
