CHERRY SCONES

Had to go into town this morning, just things needed to be done.  So we popped into Thyme Out for our Brunch and Drinks.  Whilst there Jessica had produced her freshly baked Cherry Scones.  These are to die for - the most amazing cherry scones, especially when only just cooled  down out of the oven.

I also made friends with 4 dogs - 2 long haired Golden Retriever types, very friendly, especially the youngest called Belle - perfect name.  The other condescended to a small cuddle but was too interested in being nosy.  Then two scruffle dogs (sort of like labradoodles) - not together.  The first allowed me to give him a cuddle and liked it but then just curled up and went to sleep, the other called Jasper just kept looking at me with the most enormous eyes ever and kept making these little noises that made our heart go pitter pat.  I daren't give him any food but luckily, Sarah (one of the waitresses) bought him some doggy biscuits that they keep in especially for dogs and he loved that.

That was very good therapy,, although Fletch has got no worries he is still my current No.1.

That's all for today.  Now got to hope that Storm Isha doesn't stop G's train on Monday as he needs to get back for his appointments and I can't take him this week - eeekkk!!! His train is on Monday after midday so hopefully it will be cleared by then - keeping everything crossed.

That's all for today - do take care and stay safe and I will see you all tomorrow.
