New Kettle

WAKE UP RISE AND SHINE ITS A BRAND NEW DAY - these are the words which go around the bottom of my new kettle.  Its an Emma Bridgewater design. Emergency blip as I couldn't think of anything else

I'm pleased to report I was able to book train tickets with Trans Pennine Express for my day trip to Northallerton.  ( LNER and Cross Country are both on strike that day. Fingers crossed Trans Pennine workers don't decide to go on strike on that day too.)

I went to the Co-op this afternoon... got the bus there and walked back.  The weather was cold and very windy.  I was glad to get indoors.

My back has been painful today so I've taken co-codamol and this evening its a lot better.
