The slow melt begins

I called Bill this morning to see if he'd been out, and he had and said that the roads had been plowed and were fine. We decided to take a quick trip to town. The snow has started to melt, lots of slush with ice underneath, a bit dicey to walk. A disabled person that we know asked me to help him cross the street just before we went into Thrifty's, and of course I did, both of us walking very carefully. It been very foggy all day.
1st extra: saw this guy with his bike walking into town, but barely saw him in the fog.
2nd extra: a pile of snow in a parking lot beside the toy store. More puddles to come!
