Nice smiles

Dan and Viki joined us for dinner this afternoon which was nice. Mollie was invited too, but was busy. So dinner for 5. We ate in the conservatory then moved into the lounge for an apple crumble and ice cream pudding. They have just left and I can hear the wind is picking up.

The day passed in a blur, with dinner prep, a quick allotment trip and a bit of tidying. But not much else because I didn’t actually wake up until 9.30. Although I’d been awake at 4, 6 and 8.30. Still yawning, so bed at 10 tonight. I’ve told Jon next weekend we must have a rest day, or at the very least, one afternoon. But it’s been a good one, so can’t complain.
