Life's Little Moments

Here's Lookin' at You!

I feel so fortunate to always have Tufted Titmice in my garden.  They are ridiculousy cute, not afraid of me, and always up to something.  They are grab-n-go specialists, never lingering at the feeder for longer than it takes to select a seed and fly off.  And this makes them challenging to photograph since they are almost always in motion.  Fast shutter speeds help as do FPS.  I know that I make take 20-30 shots to get one I like, which is fine in this age of mirrorless cameras.  I happen to really like this shot as it conveys the cheerful personality of this little birds.

Hubs and I took Jax for a ride in the car today - actually Hubs had to run an errand so Jax and I just came along to get out of the house.  It is marginally warmer today but still not quite to our thin-haired dog's liking. He loves car rides, though, and was content to sit in the back seat and observe everything.   And he was very happy to stay inside by the fire when I went out to take some photos later in the day.

I have an appointment next week with Travel MD to get all my meds/shots/etc for South Africa so spent some time this morning getting all the paperwork together for them and emailing it.  I'll be glad to get this done as I've been procrastinating.  And tomorrow I have a follow up with my rheumatologist to talk about the ongoing pain issues - probably time for different or additional meds.  Long process.

We watched "Hustle" on Netflix last night and both enjoyed it.  I'm not normally a huge fan of Adam Sandler's movies, but this one was the right mix of heartfelt humor.  And I used to be a huge NBA fan, so the basketball references were fun for me.  We may take a movie break tonight to watch the last few episodes of "The Crown".

Cheers,
Debbi
