Our garden project will eventually incorporate a raised seating area, affording a fine view of the Corvedale and Clee Hills.

A work in progress.

Early in the project we did away with a sloping lawn and planted it out with shrubs and heathers rescued from other parts of the garden.

This glorious heather was ragged and dying and Mrs I wanted to throw it out.

I replanted it and we have been rewarded with 18 inches of growth in just over a year.

Happy with that.

Thanks to everyone for comments and suggestions on my blip yesterday. The redundant telegraph poles will form an integral part of this area of the garden.
