Nusa Penida

I was up early for a pickup scheduled for 7.15/7.25 that arrived at 7.45. Off to Sanur Harbour via a crossing of the 4 lane highway that brought b back memories C of Saigon/HCM City..

The organisation is slick. Photo on pick up to share with your driver on the island, lanyards to denote which company your with and a sticky label to show which option. 

The fast boat trip took about 30 minutes then sorting out who was going where before a walk to the car. 6 of us, 2 Indian couples and a Chinese man. I nabbed the front seat.

The day was spent following convoys of white SUVs transporting tourists to crowded sites. The places weren't spectacular and it was hot and humid but Nusa Penida is stunning 

After lunch we went to Crystal Beach for swimming/bouncing in the eaves then back to the Harbour. This time photos and labels to match with your pick up.

There was a humongous storm when we arrived back at Sanur, serious rain as Nd thunder and lightning, birthday eating through the water to get to the car. 

Back as at Bumi Ayu I tried to sort the booking glitch I discovered this morning, showered, rinsing off the sand and then ate in the hotel restaurant. The rain was raging but I couldn't be bothered walking anywhere. I've already done 10+K steps today.
