Foot prints

Oh, the innocence of the young. Those big eyes, the smooth skin and soft hair. Not a care in the world. Its a new year. I wish that the world was a better place for this baby to grow up into. I feel sorry that the people around her are familiar with all the bad things that have happened this year. The smoke. I wish that she didn't have to deal with talking about it in social studies in 7th grade when all i talked about was 911 and courant events around the world. This baby has a lot to learn, and i hope her parents will teach her to forgive, but not to forget. To see the bad in a different way. A way that will make the world a safer place. With gun laws and better airplane security so that she can grow up not still grasped to her father like cling wrap.
