Wot, no birds

We postponed our Great Garden Birdwatch to today as its the least worst of the weather but there's still little activity. Happens every year!! 

No golf today for me - the course is wet and, as it's not raining, I'm going to get some of that autumn tidying done in the garden. The snowdrops are beginning to show and they deserve a prettier setting. 

Berry is about to have her first reasonable walk of the week. She's been so good during the resting up for her limp but it's time to test out the ditches and see how she copes. Now that I've lined every sofa with waterproof tablecloth fabric she's not had any 'accidents' - which is great but slightly aggravating :-)

Time to get on all the outer gear and get going.
