Ivy climbing beech

I worked on my book a little more this morning, making minor adjustments to text and replacing two images. I also updated my small part of the RPS Travel group website.

Then a shower.

It was grimly dark out but we still drove to Lower Beacon Hill where we had coffee and cake and Basil went for a run. Len had a pastie, but I was reduced to Avocado and Courgette cake, can you believe.

On the way back to the car this ivy creeping up a beech tree caught my eye.

A family next to us, the husband carrying a small baby on his chest, only eight weeks old. Her sister waved at me, I think she might be just a little jealous of the attention the baby is getting. She was two, her brother was four.
