Breakfast in Bed

Day two in Addo, we went for an early morning drive and saw many animals - it wasn't so hot and the animals were enjoying the cooler air. We were amused at this Kudu doe who was lying down in the high grass, obviously having a Sunday lie in. 
The weather soon turned hot  - we went for a short drive later in the morning but were pleased to return to the cooler chalets until later in the day. We had the most beautiful evening drive with a magical sunset,  gathering clouds threatening rain, and just the quiet of the bush.
The short spell of rain was most welcome, after which we had another braai, were entranced by a magnificent double rainbow, and enjoyed the night sounds. The extra shows the view from our chalet. A special weekend, and lovely to have daughter Penni with us.
