Lead on ...

There was a good turnout for the walk this morning - 13 of us in total. We were also lucky with the weather -  the rain held, the wind wasn't too bad and we had bright blue skies for most part.

This walk combines two of the marked routes on the Dunkeld Parth Network - the Braan and Inchewan walks, starting at the Hermitage. It takes you through woods alongside the Braan at the start and then across moors. This is followed by another woodland section which takes you along the Inchewan burn and into Birnam where we stopped for lunch. It was then a short walk back to the Hermitage via Inver.

It was straightforward except for one section where a lot of trees had come down in the recent storms, blocking the path. Another walker told us that this was partly as a result of trees nearby being felled, leaving these one more exposed.  However we found a path through the woods above the blocked path - T's help was much appreciated here.

I did a yin yoga session when I got back - very relaxing and hopefully it will prevent any stiffness.

Country Dancing starts back tonight which I'm looking forward to.
