I went for a local walk, and then into the garden for the first time this year. I did a little pruning, but only of selected plants - we apparently may get snow and I didn't want to remove all the protection from the new shoots. 

There are lots of daffodils coming up, clumps of bluebells, and look what I found under the hydrangea!
