Florida shells

Sunday
A bit of an emergency blip tonight, so the shells I collected from Florida beaches in the last few weeks came to my rescue. It’s always a favourite pastime of mine, walking along the beach, looking out for shells.
We were given a warm welcome back at choir, after our absence. Since we’re not a very large choir, when two of us are gone, we are missed! Our associate pastor Brian was standing in for David the senior pastor this morning, as David and his wife were up in Columbus welcoming their new grandchild into the world, the first child for their daughter. They’ll be traveling back today, as D has knee replacement surgery tomorrow! Being the first Sunday of the month, it was communion, and then after the service, Bible study as usual. Roger braved the cool temperature and went out for a bike ride in the afternoon, but I was sensible and stayed home in the warm and got some ironing done!
