An ordinary life....

Done and dusted…

Alan’s pal Andrew is always keen to help with whatever is needing done so he helped David flatten a massive pile of cardboard and take it to the recycling centre.

He also went with D to Crieff to drop off parcels to be returned to various retail outlets (my rejected wedding outfits :-) and on the way back stopped at Bennybeg Garden Centre to pick up some indoor potting compost.

When he returned Alan was up and ready for a pool session so he joined in with that.  To hear their laughter is a joy to behold.

Meanwhile I had been busy getting the chocolate layer on top of the Malteser Rocky Road along with the rest of the maltesers and marshmallows.  It was all ready for him to take home later in the afternoon.  I jokingly said it was his reward for all his help and he earnestly replied that his help is free. What a lad!

Dates in the diary for his next visit in March, so not too long a gap.

Other than that I did some painting, my online Tesco order and we watched the final three episodes of series 7 of Shetland.  I may have shed some tears at the end.  Douglas Henshall is a superb actor.  Now need to find the next drama to watch.
