Wildlife

When I got up this morning, I found a leak in the kitchen where there had never been one before. I think because the water was coming through from other areas it had never got as far as this corner. The roofers have been out and looked at it and it is in a different part of the roof and nowhere near the part that we had already had repaired. They will come out on Monday to repair that section, they could not do it today due to the torrential rain we have had for most of the day.
 
Today’s picture is of some of the wildfowl that are dabbling about in a section of water halfway up the orchard; this is not connected to the enlarged pond.
 
The temperature at noon today was eleven degrees Celsius. Another night of heavy rain, which continued for most of the day.
