Gather Ye ‘Snowdrops’ While Ye May

With apologies to Robert Herrick. who was writing about Rosebuds.

The snowdrops in this entry should be alive and well for many days yet, however the ones I have picked and are ‘smiling will tomorrow be dying’.

In The Policies there are snowdrops in bloom all over. Of the crocus there are no signs at all.

Willie Wordsworth can sleep easily knowing that the many variety of daffodils are already making their presence known and will shortly be in bloom.

Poetry? Why ? Pat has asked me to research for an appropriate poem for a dedication ceremony to take place in the last week of February and should feature as a Blipfoto entry.

We are preparing for a visitation by another two ‘California Girls’.
