Two Wild Things in the bath this evening :-)
I picked Eben and Luca up in the afternoon, leaving Josh and Ruth free to get ready for the work 'leaving-do' that they had to postpone last week (when a colleague was ill).
Working their special imaginative magic, Eben and Luca transformed the bath into a burger stall, where toy letters became the ingredients for whatever burger combination Richard and I wanted to buy, and became the currency for purchases too. Along with providing raw material for a few experiments about friction, adhesion and gravity.
Later bedtime was reasonably calm; both boys were tired out, in fact, so a few stories did the trick in terms of settling them to sleep.
