Hmmm…what to draw…

I’ll think of something.
It’s been a disappointing day for us and our Irish visitors.
Sam and Siobhan, Isla and Arón were meant to be coming today, flying from Belfast to Leeds on an early morning flight. However that flight was cancelled and the next one wasn’t till 1.30pm. Luckily they hadn’t set off for the airport when they got the message which saved them hanging about the airport for 7 hours! 
They got the 1.30pm flight but it couldn’t land in Leeds due to the fog and the plane circled for 1 1/2 hours before re-routing to Liverpool! Which is where they are now looking for a hotel for the night. They had to cancel the hire car they’d booked in Leeds but couldn’t book one in Liverpool at such short notice so they’ll have to try in the morning and then will go to Cleveleys near Blackpool to visit Sam’s mum so we won’t see them till tomorrow night. I feel so sorry for them, what and exhausting and stressful day.
As I wrote yesterday our car is in need of a new alternator and the battery is not charging properly so we couldn’t risk driving.
Anyway, we passed the time today drawing and painting in the art room.

Tomorrow I am going by train to Saltaire to meet up with fellow Blipper Eyecatching who is visiting family there.
Any other Blippers local to there are welcome to join us. I arrive at Saltaire station at 12 noon. Any ideas for a nice cafe in Saltaire? 

I’m going to make the tea now. I already made a big dish of coleslaw for our visitors which we were going to have with jacket potatoes and spicy beans.
