Turf cut at last

When we got the original quote for the landscaping work (dig a pond, create a rill, create a suitably shaped raised area to use up the soil dug out, and deal with the hedge) it was suggested the work would take 4 weeks.  Well, this is the first day of week 4 - there's a lot still to do!

The hedging is sorted, but the landscaping of the grassy area has barely begun.

The weather has not been kind - out of the 14 working days (there was a Monday Bank Holiday) it's rained on 7, and the rest of this week is looking decidedly wet on the forecast.

Excuse the awful photo, I was out when they packed up and by the time I got back it was getting dark, so this is a quick snap through the closed and dirty bedroom window, more for the record than the quality!
