Great Spotted Woodpecker

A day of relentless rain, even the spaniel is despondent. I've had to do indoor jobs which included failing to re-construct our office desk because we can't find the bolts for the legs. To get my blip I've resorted to photographing birds through the window in the kitchen door. The previous owners were very keen birders. So far we've discovered 15 feeders. Fortunately they also left us a dustbin half-full of peanuts and another with seed. We spotted 23 different species in the garden on the first weekend we were here.
