Superbowl

YES! It's Thursday! Currently the only WFH day for me! It was lovely to have a more relaxed start. It was even nicer not to have the pressure of a manic day. This has been the most well-paced week in months.

G & I ventured out in the evening. I wanted to try the new Ladies' Night at the Sol Sky Bar. They have switched from Friday to Thursday. Sadly, we didn't leave home while there was still light. We got to the skybar to find it busy enough but not operating as it should. The promotion has changed, and for some reason, the DJ didn't show up.

It didn't take us long to change our minds and head to Skafos, which is at ground level. I noted that the area where the "Super Bowl" is has been enhanced. It looked inviting, except there was no Creek view.

Long story short, things didn't work at this outlet either. I'll put it down to poorly trained staff. It's too sad for words that a hotel with outlets with premium views struggles so much to attract customers, and the ones they get, they infuriate! Anyway, our man Paritosh saved the day. We stayed for a drink at his insistence and moved on to Wafi Mall, where we had our dinner and did some essential shopping. C'est la vie!
