Looking at the Quinag

A day of variable weather and we were chasing the light. We headed out on the same route as yesterday stopping as the scenery and light appealed to us.  We were very taken with the majestic sight of the Quinag mountain and stopped several times to take images from different locations.  This one was taken from Little Assynt.  The silver birches are also in good colour with their burgundy purplish colours.  We finally reached Lochinver a fishing harbour where we wandered along the beach and fishing harbour photographing fishing nets and lobster pots.  By now the weather had deteriorated and was dark and grey so we retraced our journey back to the accommodation.

Its been a lovely time but I am so busy I am afraid there is little time to visit journals and comment
