Derelict bus

This derelict bus looks like it has supported a lot of life in its heyday. It was parked behind an also derelict fence in an overgrown allotment in a tiny town whose name I can't recall on the road between Christchurch and Timaru, where we are now. I like the bus's curtains.

We enjoyed wandering around this picturesque town today. It is a major port and a beach (Caroline Bay) where little blue penguins can be seen at dusk. Although we spent a fair bit of time there we were too early for the penguins.

My extras, all taken from the beach, show: a view of the port area; and two beach scenes.
