Mistakes

Having noticed yesterday that whatever it is that triggers my very occasional hayfever is currently active, standing in this location is not the wisest thing I've done.

It wasn't affecting me there and then; but needed a new box of tissues when I got back to the office.

The other 'learning experience of the day' was verifying that the distance between shelves in the oven is greater than one gas mark.

Pizza (gas mark 5) was fine in the middle but pizza#2 (gas mark 6) on the upper shelf was slightly frazzled, and the garlic bread (gas mark 4) on the lower shelf slightly suboptimal in frazzlementation.

Evening spent on Treasurer admin. Why, regardless of filing system, do people provide bits of paper that don't fit it? (Leave-it-in-one-big-heap systems excepted).
