Frostbitten Pansy

We were awaken at 5:00 am; Millie was hungry. Neither of us could get back to sleep. I finished putting away everything from the trip. It seemed like there were new little jobs popping up all day. And they are all taken care of. We had a ton of birds at the freshly filled feeders. A wren took a bath in the clean birdbath. I tried to photograph it and a male cardinal eating breakfast but they were too dark and not blip worthy. This pansy was scarred by the cold but I think it is still pretty. Hubby spent over an hour trying to stream an app on our smart (not) tv. Turns out one device will not work on our upgraded network but the Fire-stick should. Jamie will stop by later today and try to help us figure it out. I see a “smarter” tv in our future. We were both computer savvy during our careers-sad that we are falling so far behind in technical knowledge. Hubby shopped for needed staples-milk, yogurt, etc. I’m making cheese stuffed shells Alfredo for dinner - easy. Otherwise, it’s nap time. Sending wishes for a quiet evening. I will try to catch up with your journals soon. Thanks for your visit.
“Happiest flower in the garden is the pansy, without doubt. As it unfolds its petals, it at times looks inside out”. - Terry Hoffman
