I didn't get a chance to go for a walk at lunch time, so I had no blip by the time I finished work. Then, on the walk down town I saw this character - Corvus corone - the Hooded Crow. They have a bit of a bad reputation as the thugs of bird-land, but I reckon they are just prime class opportunists. They are really only found in the north and west of Scotland, being replace by their cousins, the Carrion Crow, in the south and east. Quite striking really, in their black dinner jacket!
