I did it!

The veg basket won its class, and was judged Best in Section (fruit and vegetables). Here I am wearing my rosette and trying to look nonchalant holding up the laden basket.

To my amazement I received another rosette for Best in Non Alcoholic Drinks section (raspberry cordial). And yet another rosette for Best in all the Home Industries classes (bottled apricots). I was festooned.

There were a slew of other 1st, 2nds and 3rds, so I came home with a pile of certificates and some reasonable prize money.

What an afternoon. I'm exhausted by the excitement. It will be an early bed tonight...
