Busy morning

We slept a little later this morning, but I managed to make yoghurt before a leisurely breakfast.  After breakfast MrMacD decided the new bedroom light had to be installed.  The bed was moved to one side and a ladder brought up from the garage.  My help was required.  It took a long time as the screws were very difficult to insert and MrMacD eventually decided to use his own screws with pointed ends, which made the task a lot easier.  The light was firmly secured then the three rings it’s comprised of were adjusted to our liking - a job well done.

After a light lunch we got our bikes out and cycled down to the A&P Show, where we met our blipper friend Mima who had done extremely well with her exhibits - lots of firsts, seconds and thirds and three rosettes.  We had a wander around but realised that most of the action had taken place during the morning.  It was interesting to see the exhibits and one or two of the animals, and children having fun on unusual bikes. We even bumped into four people that we know.

After cycling back home we prepared supper together and watched the news while we ate.  After tidying up MrMacD went out to water the garden and no sooner had he done so than a real hooley of a wind started.  He had to give up on the watering because the wind was just too strong.  Eventually it was time for him to leave to do the Community Patrol.  I spent the evening catching up on computer admin work and dipping into Blip journals.

The collage shows a few sights from the show and an interesting sky as MrMacD left the house.
