Circle of Life

When I arrived at the Enrichment field I was surprised by the number of birds in the field that flew off as I opened the gate. Once in I discovered why. The field was basically saturated and Oscar and I were walking through water. Sadly the earthworms had drowned and this is why the birds were there. I spent most of my time looking for worms still alive - I then moved them to the raised ground over the fence.
On the way home I stopped at Cadsonbury to look at the River  Lynher- very full! With more rain expected Sunday I think it could burst it's bank.
