Edinburgh Skyline

We were all up bright and early to get into Edinburgh for BB’s rugby.  It was a really lovely morning, with great views across the Forth on our journey.  We dropped BB, and as ever there was nowhere to park, so we went to hunt out  a space elsewhere.  Once parked up we walked to Stockbridge, and then had a wander around Waitrose, before wandering back to the rugby.  A friend, who was in town for another rugby match was keen to see BB play, and met us at the ground.  The boys played well.  They didn’t win, but they defended really well.  The coach was very pleased with them as they have really improved.

TT and friends went off in search of a hostelry to watch football, while BB and I drove home.  It was initially a very slow journey, as it  took us ages to get out of Edinburgh and on to the A1.  Once home I fed BB, and he get himself ready to head back into Edinburgh to meet up with TT and friends as they were all going to Murrayfield.  Once he was gone, I fed myself, then headed out for a quick walk.  I came home and watched some of the rugby, before going ins search of a bus to head back into Edinburgh to meet up with everyone for drinks and a curry. We had a lovely evening.  Most of our group were happy, apart from the England supporters (including TT).

We ended up on the last bus home, which I thought would be a nightmare, but it wasn’t very busy.  It was a slow bus though, so it did take rather a while to get home.

This was the view from the location of BB’s rugby match.  It’s not as clear as it should be, but it is a great view of the Edinburgh skyline.  The extra is of BB’s rugby match, where he is running with the ball.
