Another room repainted.  The lounge has gone from dingy brown to a nice airy blue.

A bit of finishing off needed, where large holes had to be filled.  But we're delighted with the transformation.  We had them take down the metal curtain poles, so are curtainless until we can put up some wooden ones (hopefully this weekend).  There's more furniture to move back in there, but we have made a decision on the light wood cabinet that was our CD storage - it's going upstairs to replace a bookcase.

We also plan to close off the chimney and put in an electric fire.

In other news, I have unmuffled hearing for the first time in ages after a trip into Wexford to get ear wax suctioning at Specsavers.
