Joe Tree Day

They say from little acorns mighty oaks grow, or in this case from small conkers large chestnut trees grow.

So this is my tribute to Joe Tree who had the brilliant idea of setting up Blipfoto.

This ‘ tree’ started as a conker picked up from the footpath at Naburn Locks in April 2023.

Planted in a pot and had it’s first leaves in October 2023.

Now the new buds are forming, to open later in summer this year and the tree will continue to grow.

I am very grateful to all the people who continue to run this site which now has thousands of people world wide.
I have made so many friends both in the flesh and virtual.
