Whitby in miniature

A tiny landscape found on the side of a boat in Whitby.

We spent a few hours wandering around the town taking photos and met up with a chap from camera club who moved here a couple of years ago. I was surprised how busy Whitby was given that March has only just begun, but apparently it's fairly normal for a weekend! Don't think I'd want to be here in the height of summer or when they are hosting steampunk/goth weekends! Although the latter would be good photographically!

The extra is looking through the harbour gates at the houses and church on the other side of the harbour.

We went back into Whitby after dark to have a look at the laser show projected from Whitby Abbey, photo in second extra.
