Swollen river.

We had another early start for church on Sunday. We met a man who had been asked to leave his accommodation over night and had to sleep in the bus shelter. It was cold yesterday and he was glad to find a warm space where he could have a coffee and a croissant. He stayed on for the service. Not sure what he made of it all but he was talking to people at the end.
Outside the window, the river had flooded onto the road after two days of incessant rain. Good to have some sunshine this afternoon.
