Neptune through a tangle of infrastructure

And nothing whatsoever to do with the Mono Monday challenge hosted by stujphoto. I’m going to tag it anyway.

A beautiful morning where we were both otherwise engaged. When Susan came home after being with Doreen she suggested we go to Whitstable for a walk and a cup of tea.

So, that’s what we did. The weather had turned grey and overcast so it seemed only appropriate to remove all the colour from the image. On the left, out of view was another SeaG8 vessel, the Shetland Trader which had grounded as the tide went out and was just being lifted by the tide when we walked past in the dark later.

The tea and a shared scone, jam and cream at the Continental hit the spot.

I did dither about whether to blip the harbour at night instead with the prominent brightly lit boat making a more lively scene. This boat was called “Force”. Well that was what was written in large letters on the superstructure.
