Windmill 'De Pelikaan', Den Dungen

'Pelikaan' = 'Peli-KAAN' = accent on the last syllable
'Dungen' is not 'dungeon' but just plain 'dungen'.

A sunny day throughout!  And no traffic jams, too.  Fabulous drive and feeling really good.  A couple of months ago I woke up with that fabulous feeling of being unable to feel pain, and that was close today.  It's really grand when one's head is unburdened.  Life is challenging enough without an extra load.  Eventually, it will be a total non-issue.

Built in 1864, renovated in 1924.  There's a bakery right where it is, and it produces some of the flour, just like in the old days.  When millers sell their own flour, it's usually a kind of novelty -- special marketing, special packaging, special price (not necessarily more expensive), and customers specifically ask for it, too.  I have to report, though, that I did not enter the bakery as I was still full from brunch, and I didn't want to get thirsty from eating.

So... four in a row.  Very unexpected, but I am catching up with the delays due to the foul weather.

The usuals at home.  Thankful for our version of an ordinary life.
Thankful also for all your visits, stars, hearts.  They are much appreciated.
