Breda Mural 25 -- 'Clowns, Animals, Freaks'

Some people had sprayed their own grafitti on it, which took about half an hour to 'clean up' during post-processing.  Why can't these 'artists' simply leave someone else's work alone?  One would think they had something more worth looking at to decorate the walls.

This mural was painted in the paid parking area called Mols Parking, close to the old city centre, in commemoration of the simultaneous arrival of two rival circus companies in town way back in 1988.  To promote its own shows, one of them decided to let loose a couple of elephants in this particular parking area.  There must have been some verbal sparring between the two because the local government decided to penalize both -- both were forbidden to perform in town for five years.

A cloudy day with some rain, but the weather has generally warmed up.  It is still cold, though, when the wind blows.

Thankful for an ordinary day, and for today's mural.  Comments open again... for a while, anyway.
