Hartsholme Park

Last night my migraine stuck around, not full-on but there enough to be draining. This morning I found a yoga routine for migraine, and it helped - after that and a shower I felt much better.

Later on we decided to have a drive out to Hartsholme Park to find a Blip for the day. It was a lovely, temperate spring morning, much better than the forecast had suggested and we enjoyed a walk around the lake.

A group of older men were sitting on a bench, sailing these little remote control yachts on the lake and chatted cheerily among themselves. The park was quite busy today with families and dog-walkers enjoying the sunlight.

After a lap of the lake we left to get a few groceries from Morrison's, taking advantage of another of Brian's vouchers before coming home to watch the football match between Man U and Everton. It was a win for United, 2-0 with both goals coming from penalties. I think United could have gone and sat in the stands and it would still have taken Everton twenty minutes to score.

Then it was time for Rugby League, with our beloved Warriors away at London Broncos. They are newly and surprisingly promoted and struggling with the step up, but they put up a good fight, especially in the first half. Wigan had taken the opportunity to rest some of the first teamers and give an opportunity to some of the younger squad players who are in their debut season in the first team.. It's good to give them a bit of experience as later in the season they may well be called upon to cover for injured players. They slotted in very nicely I'm glad to say. There's some real talent coming through the ranks!

I can relax now I have my Blip posted!
