New Growth

A grey day. A bit of tidying up this morning before being picked up by two of my camera club friends for a trip over to R.H.S. Rosemoor, for the Spring Flower Show. There was some stunning blooms on display. One gentleman we spoke to was counting up his tally of first prizes for his daffodils. He had come all the way over from northern Ireland.

We decided to have some refreshment before taking a wander around the gardens.  The rain held off until we were almost all the way around.

Todays blip is a promise of flowers to come. It is buds from a magnolia, so maybe  another visit in the not to distant future to find it open.
