A day in the life

Standup

I was on duty in the theatre this evening, working as an audience-host during a Standup evening. One of my colleagues got ill so I took her shift too. Five to eleven was the working hours but it's good extra money on top of the pension. I don't like the standup routine these two guys are doing, I find it sexist and rasist, pretending it isn't. Humour is about recognising yourself in the standup act and I certainly don't. My blip, instead of being of the person on stage, was looking across the street from the theatre into the restaurant where people seem to enjoy each others company over some good food and wine.
It looks more fun on that side of the street than it is here.
