Sally Anne's

I took a lot of clothing that was of very good quality to Sally Anne's, the Salvation Army charity shop in Addlestone, today. My wife was given it by Gloria, an elderly lady in the village she supports. Gloria is 92 and has been having a bit of a clear-out. My wife made sure it was all washed and clean. It was well received and I hope the shop finds good homes for the clothes  Sally Anne's, I assume, is a variation on the colloquial name for the Salvation Army - the Sally Army. I was tempted to look in the box of old vinyl LPs in the shop but really need to give some of my own a spin before I add to the collection.
