200 Years Later

There was plenty of coverage on the local news magazine programmes last week about the bicentennial of the opening of the first Cadbury’s shop in Bull Street, Birmingham.  As part of the celebrations the company is producing seven different retro packs of their famous dairy milk chocolate.  This is No 1 from about 1915.  You can just imagine how important it would have been to receive a bar in the emergency packages sent for the soldiers in the trenches during the First World War.
