Rain Day

We had about 10 minutes of sunrise color looking east this morning before the rain came over the western mountains.   I stood in the door and got this photo of the apple tree in the front yard.   It is just starting to get little buds on it.    

Not the best shot as I had three dogs swarming around my legs as I was trying to keep them inside.  Of course, they all had to go outside to see what was happening.   Good thing we keep an old towel near the door to dry off dogs!! 

Looks like a meat loaf and mashed potato kind of day.   Comfort food on a cool, rainy Friday.
