Friday: Damson Blossom

Been watching the fruit trees since the beginning of the month, seeing flower buds slowly appearing and even slower flower opening, finally first flower open and a cloudy sky, unlike a few years ago -

Had a very enjoyable hour in the greenhouse before lunch, everything coming along slowly. Temperature around 10°C and dry :-)

MrD had a very long day of deliveries and was exhausted this evening. We watched “Ford v Ferrari” - https://www.20thcenturystudios.com/movies/ford-v-ferrari - which is a really interesting film if you’re a “petrol head” …
