Distraction

…. From packing which made for a late night!

Using a grogged white clay I bought to experiment with, which is better for hand building than the pottery buff clay. I’m pleased with it. Two slab built bowls formed over two of my kitchen crockery set joined and fettled plus a couple of small coils for the neck. It’s drying at home.

Packing complete, I was visited by John at just the right time for him to help loading the car! He’s here this weekend for Corris railway training …. this our only overlap :-/ Meg was soooo pleased to see him :-). I stopped at their caravan on my way up the valley to walk Meg and am now overnighting at Ruth’s.
